School Accreditation Assessments will be conducted on receiving payment and a written application from the school. Further information on physical resources will be sent to you on receipt of the application.
With each application the schools will forward a portfolio/profile which can comprise of photos, video, student testimonials, etc to support their application. The school's Principal/Director must sign off on each page/article of the portfolio.
The application should include a summary of the curriculium which must be based on the guidelines of the National Beauty Training Package. The overview must set out the modules available to be studied and the hours for each module to be completed.
The school is obligated to be available for physical inspection at any given time with a 24 hours notice period, not more than once every twelve months.
APFA schools are invited to offer APFA membership to all students at $35.00 per student. This can be incorporated into their course fees and offered as an incentive to enrol in an APFA Accredited School. The school will make the application for membership on behalf of the student and forward the fee to the Association for membership to be processed.
The APFA reserves the right to inspect the premises prior to acceptance.
Notification of any changes must be made to the APFA within 14 days of that change.
Any change of owners/premises/educators/principal shall require a re-assessment at the earliest possible time.
Both the school and all Educators must remain current members of the APFA once they have achieved accredited status, otherwise the certificates will be requested to be returned; or they must undertake a complete new accreditation assessment.
